In a suburban neighbourhood of the city of Bra, a passive house was built with the use of innovative technologies. The building envelope was designed with thatch and brick infill in raw earth, while the internal plasters were made entirely of clay. Through Terracruda Construction Systems and Wall Systems it was possible to build a house with high energy efficiency and high internal comfort.

 

Details of the intervention

In a peripheral urban context, a high energy-efficiency independent construction with the use of natural construction systems.

The construction system provided for a load-bearing wooden frame with perimetric walls in straw and internal clay finishing plaster.

Terracruda construction Components were used for the construction of the house and Terracruda wall Systems were implemented.
